| This was one hell of a weekend. We started on Friday 6/26/06 by the continuation of moving some of the smaller boxes and aranging for the Public Storage Van on Saturday. Lisa and Allen went to get the Moving Van at 9am Saturday morning and the fun began. Diane picked up Larry (our very dear friend) at the house and brought him back to the appartment. We loaded all of the larger items like the couches, lounge chair, entertainment center, etc. When we got to the house Larry decided to change out the ceiling fans in the living room and Lisa's room while we made another run to the appartment. Larry came back later on that evening with his wife Wendy to finish the fans and help with some of the unpacking. Larry and I discussed putting tile on the patio and even went as far as to go to Home Depot to check out tile prices. We ended up returning the moving van at about 11pm and went to bed about 12 midnight totally wiped out. |

Sunday morning, Diane and Lisa went
out to find a Dryer, Toilet, and Barbeque while Allen headed
over to the appartment to pack up the remaining odds and ends
and clean up a little. 10am - Larry calls and wants to know
if Allen is ready to do the patio tile. Well that was the beginning
of the end. We spent the rest of Sunday and until 2pm Monday
doing the Patio Tiles, while Diane, Wendy, Lisa and Nicole moved
some more small items from the appartment. ***************** NOT !***************** The second part of the story still to come. ;-) |
